﴿ وَتَعَاوَنُوا عَلَى الْبِرِّ وَالتَّقْوَىٰ وَلَا تَعَاوَنُوا عَلَى الْإِثْمِ وَالْعُدْوَانِ ﴾ (المائدة: 2)
“And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression.”
📝 Explanation:
Purchasing products from companies that directly support oppression is a form of indirect cooperation in wrongdoing. As Muslims, we are commanded to stand against injustice in all forms.
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Whoever among you sees an evil, let him change it with his hand; if he cannot, then with his tongue; and if he cannot, then with his heart — and that is the weakest of faith.” (Muslim)
📝 Explanation:
Boycotting unjust systems is a peaceful and powerful way to resist oppression. Even if we can’t fight with weapons, we can fight with choices — and our wallets.
